Initially, I was taking it really easy, doing the whole break in thing. BUT, the guys at the dealership told me NOT to take it too easy on it. In fact, they said drive it like you're going to want it to drive. The reason behind this has to do with the learning curve of the computer(s). The car LEARNS how YOU drive, and adjusts itself accordingly. While I haven't gone all out etc.. The fact is, I am DRIVIN' it now! So far, this thing feels strong. I might add, I'm driving simultaneously in Sport and Competitive Modes, almost all the time!

There could be something to this. I've been driving my car pretty hard from the first second I got in it (6 miles). I don't abuse it, but I've been mashing the gas to the floor and letting her run.
I can't wait for the weather to cool down to get her to the track to see if its all in my mind or if my A6 is really as fast as I think it is.
It definately discouraging hearing all these stories about very slow running A6.
Some of the track times I've been hearing about are slower than what you'd expect from the V6 Camaro.
