There is a GM bulletin for a shifter rattle on these cars. They may not be able to duplicate it but if they check for bulletins they will probably see there is a fix. Let me know how you make out. Dont be too hard on the dealer. Not all of them are terrible. Just like doctors, you have some techs that are great problem solvers and some that are not. Send me a PM.
