Did that, still caused problems and it toasted 2nd gear. The honeycomb design that they send ya is a bandaid, not a fix.

I love my KB, I just wasn't happy with the results of having to rebuild the tranny because their Customer Service sent me something they claimed to be something that it's not. A fix.

JRE's custom 4" intake tube is going to be in my first round of parts orders that I send out for my new build. I've talked with Ted, and about his experiences with similar setups and I have full faith that this is a true fix.
