Moisture around the perimeter is a none issue , the unit was designed for it. This is why there is over an inch seperation from the scoop to the plenum. The system sits at a angle ( downhill). The filter inlet is raised up 1 inch above the plenum floor. This creates a moat around the filter ,and there is also a hole in the rear of the plenum for maf cooling and extra drainage if needed.

Thanks for the reassurance. I love my vararam. I was just a little freaked out because my last camaro was hydrolocked. I've since driven it with no problems
