If stabilitrack is activating in your normal driving, you're probably going too fast. The only time I've ever had stabilitrack activate was when I was taking a turn fairly spirited (as I tend to do when I'm driving the camaro) except this time there were some rocks on the road that I didn't see until it was too late. I felt the car heading straight for the ditch, understeering quite a bit on the rocks. I was on the brakes which activated ABS to let me keep my directional control but i was still heading towards the ditch, then I saw the flashing orange lights on the dash and felt the car pull back the way the wheel was turned rather violently. I'm confident if I had the stabilitrack turned off, I would have ended up in the ditch. I guess I just don't drive fast enough on the street to activate it. I've activated traction control a few times when I didn't think it was necessary but its not like It hurt anything. Of course at the track I turn it off. That's the time when it does more harm than good, but on the street I prefer to keep it on. Just my 2 cents.
