If I had a special edition or even a ZL1 I would refrain from doing any mods, but since mine is a Plain 1LT modding it for appearance and minor performance enhancements shouldn't make much difference in resale value but will increase my ownership experience.

I have added my Angrybird emblems, a RX Catch Can, RX ported throttle body, ACS TL1 hood insert, MorPro Auto Shift side stripes, 4 pack Guages, ZL1 Grille, Emblempros 1LT Emblems, Emblempros Colored kick panels, GM Quarter Flares, Husky floor liners, painted the rear panel and added Emblempros style 2 gill inserts.

All these mods I feel enhance my ownership experience.
