I went through a simular situation with modding my old C5 vette...It was one thing after the other...mega wasted money...and by the time I got it at 90% right...it just was not enjoyable anymore. So I got lucky and sold it to buy a SS Camaro and promised the wife I wouldnt crack open the engine. Just added an axle back and called it a day. No headaches now and am much happier. I would take the loss and move on. Good luck either way!
