I believe all bases are the same on V8 shifters. The difference, the post is in the upper position in the body of the shifter and that wound make it shorter and make it a much shorter through or shift. This shifter is a Hurst factory shifter. It would of been put in a Camaro if the Hurst Shifter option was ordered. I did look into purchasing the shifter about a year and half ago, but as always GM wanted to much money for the Hurst Shifter. If the shifter was around 600 dollars or less it would be a decent price.
