Yes, I know how it works. How does the evaporator connect to the HX? Is it only touching at the bottom to remove the heat?
AC removes heat and does not produce cold. To make anything cold we have to remove heat.
The chiller unit has to be a evaporator with a expansion valve. Running freon though something will not always cool, you have to expand the freon to get it to remove heat. Then compress the freon to get the heat out of that with a condenser.
