Well, that's difficult to say.
The car never see's rain, so it never washes off. When I have driven it on consecutive days, they're still a nice dark black, with a "satin" look. I usually wash the car at least once a week, at which time I use a cleaner to remove the Armor-All. I don't like "gels" as most "sling", and I don't like the build-up. The spray is better IMO.

That picture was taken immediately after Armor-All was applied. As for "look at me, I'm still in high school" shine, I don't think thats really the case.
It's a matter of personal preference.
I've used Zaino's tire treatment, but I can get the same look from a good tire
cleaner.
I prefer a little different look. The Armor All provides that, but does not have that "high gloss", "wet", "Look at me I'm still in high school" look you're referring to.
