Do you know of a GM car without them?
AFAIK, they let you turn them off on GM vehicles, but the option to disable them resets when you shut off the engine. So you have to disable them each time you start up.

My Aveo has no way to disable them (if there's a way you know of PLEASE tell me). I don't mind disabling them every time I start the car, just as long as it can be done.
Driving around with your headlights on all the time looks stupid. I can see another car in broad daylight without the help of DRL's. I haven't met anyone yet that likes them.
I'll concede the fact that they aren't as bad in the turn signals. But in the headlights (like my Aveo) I hate them.
I disabled them in my '00 S10 and ''02 Camaro. I'll do the same in the 5th Gen as soon as I figure out how.
