For Foto-Friday will toss out a couple pics of the hood that I installed last week, though the paint job was bad (used hood) and will need to do some more work on it.
Considering stripping the hood spear decals (45th style) and Plasti-Dipping the whole thing as a temporary solution. When re-employed, may look at two tone paint scheme, using flat/matte/satin black over most the hood with silver for the "insert" ... or reversed. May even go for flat/matte/satin black over entire hood and perhaps a Blue hood spear (paint calipers blue and perhaps a few accents).
Precious owner apparantly played around with Plasti-Dip as well, but did NOT mask off the vents!!!
They are somewhat gummed up. I spent a while today clearing most of one ... and then my back started screaming at me. Think it will be a while working a bit here and there on it to get that undone.
