There's ~ 250lb difference between the two cars. That's the equivalent of having your sister ride shotgun.
Sure you can strip out the interior and shave some weight here and there, but you can do that to ANY car. Perhaps you would be better suited in a Miata? IRS, lightweight, and short wheelbase!
