The CAI system is essentially a sealed short ram intake system. Unlike other systems, (injen in particular) that relocate the filter out of the engine bay and closer to the ground, the CAI filter is located in roughly the same position as the stock filter. I have never heard a single water issue with the CAI system. They are excellent quality and I recommend them. We also just got a huge shipment of them so we have them in stock!
