The whole "good things come to those who wait" comes to mind, but the carrot is dangling in front of me. My first new car as a teen was a 1987 Camaro...I have been waiting for the 2010 since the day I heard it would be produced.
For those of you who are ordering now, how long are you being told the wait is?
Originally, I was looking for a 2LT, IOM with the IO interior. But having an SS/RS dangled in front of me is KILLING me.

Everyone is going to have a different answer for this, so im afraid it wont be much help....However, I think there are a couple of questions you need to ask yourself before you make your decision:
1) Is this the EXACT camaro you want? Or, would you get a different color, lt, 1ss instead of 2ss, ect. If there is anything you would change about this car as compared to if you were to order one I would say most definately wait. i would not want to buy something that was not exactly what i wanted.
2) If this is the exact one you would get, is 2k more worth it to not have to wait? When i spoke to Alex at Classic yesterday, he said new orders should be arriving in 4-5 month, so youre looking at Nov or Dec before you get it probably. If waiting is not a big deal to you, then i say save yourself 2k. However, i can say that if i had a chance to buy my exact order 4-5 months early, for 2k more, I would most definately would have. Of course this is because i want to be one of the first ones to have one, and get all the attention that comes with it, come nov or dec that wont be the case. once again, some people dont care about that.
so, those are the two biggest questions id ask myself.. first and for most, dont get it if its not exactly what you would get if you were ordering one.
If i were in your shoes and found my exact order, for 2k over id get it.
