I am 24, and I have a great job! I work 11pm to 7am. Nights. I basically am a machine all night where I work, which is at a hot dog and hamburger bun bakery production plant. I stand pretty much in one spot all night and pack the rolls and buns into trays. It's awesome and fun! Oh, and there is no air conditioning except the break room and offices. 110 degrees, even at night on the production floor.
As you could probably figure out, I hate my job. Got sucked in there because of my dad, who worked in that place for about 35 years. The pay is good, he said. It's not so bad, he said.....
I'm at the point where I'd rather have a job at a grocery store stocking shelves than working where I do now, even if it meant I'd take a $5-10 pay cut. But then I probably won't be able to afford my Camaro payments, lol. I'm in a bit of a pickle I guess. I'm learning the hard way, that which has been mentioned many times in this thread. Choose something you love as your career, otherwise you'll end up like me....
