the oil seperator is not a catch can. it stops oil from going from the cleanside to thr intake tube and lets it drain back into the motor. it also allows pressure to be released so you dont do things like blow a rear main seal...dont ask.
a catch can installed on the dirty side catches and contains the oil and some of the noxious fumes.
i run an rx catch can (which works flawlessley) on dirty side and the gm 1LE seperator on the clean side. took it on track and it works just how i hoped it would. no excess pressure no oil going to my intake. i was looking at options like what litle88 did or running another rx catch can for the clean side. Mr. RX himself said just do the 1LE seperator for clean side...cant beat real car guy advice instead of having me buy another of his fantastic products.
