I'm willing to bet they're saying that because they don't care for the look of it. I think it looks kind of sweet, and I've tossed around the idea of it myself. I'm going to wash my RJT 2010 and plastidip the whole hood first to see if I like it, tomorrow hopefully. If I don't, I'm just going to go with the angles on the hood.
But I don't see anything wrong with plasti-dipping your whole car if that's what you're into. People like to hate on others and try to force them into the status-quo
