The Z/28 will give up some of the straight line speed to the ZL1, but the lower CG, square wheel and tire setup, higher spring rates, lighter weight, CC brakes and D.O.T legal slicks should make it faster than the ZL1 and right there with the Red Devil.
At the OPTIMA the L/28 projected out to the fastest road course time as our standing start lap was the 5th fastest lap of the day. The L/28 is 600 RWHP and heavier than the Z/28. Mark's new Camaro Mayhem has 850 at the rear wheels. You can't put down 850 on 200 tread wear tires. Put the L/28, Red Devil and Mayhem all on D.O.T. slicks and take 2 seconds off the lap times. Put the ZL1 on slicks and watch 2 seconds drop off. Red Devil and the ZL1 were both on street tires.

Really good question. Maybe the Z06 or the Porsche GT3? The new VIPER?
