The loyalty programs clearly does not list the Camaro as eligible unless you're in Canada. He may be using that as an excuse to get you on the hook though and actually offer you a 1000 more than you might have gotten on any trade. Beware this one old and tired dealer trick....when they offer to keep the payment that you have, it's generally a very easy way for them to "play the numbers" to their advantage. They can give you the same payment, if you JUST ask for that, but they may be able to jack up the APR to do it w/o you even noticing. Be sure and ask them what's the best APR that you can get...I'll bet that the numbers won't be the same.

Just traded in an 08 Work truck and the finance rate we got was 1.3% better than when we bought it.
