Understandably so.... A PM defending the practice is one thing but something he said "wouldn't you add 4K if you had the cars and could?" is kinda weird.. I can see doing this to a showroom or dealer stock car. cause once it's on it's on and you can't remove "paint protection" or a clear bra. Hell yeah make your money cause dealerships are in business to make money. and cars in the showroom sell under the bright lights.... some moron will buy it thinking Turtle wax costs 1500 bucks....
HOWEVER, The practice of Pre Ordering cars for buyers "CUSTOM" built to their specs quoting "we will sell at MSRP" then requiring you to add on 4K worth of stuff you may or may not want is plain lying. You cannot use the term "We Will sell at MSRP"... cause 42K is not MSRP.....
That being said though whether damien agrees or disagrees he has to like we say in the military "Shut up and color".... Basically military speak for "shut your mouth and go back to work, unless you enjoy digging ditches"... I don't agree with alot of shit my boss and upper management do or decide to implement. But if this site was perused by them checking on me too see what i've been saying I sure as hell wouldnt be badmouthing em.
Not saying Damien is completely innocent. He is guilty by association and by the fact that the posts on here from him directly "WE WILL SELL AT MSRP" can and will live on in infamy. The great thing about the internet... If John L Sullivan himself got on here and said "yeah I did it bitches, cuz i'm rich and I have a solid gold inground pool so WHAT NOW?".... when that happens you'll see how quickly ppl stop blaming DTipper....
