yeah people think its a lot more than it is. i honestly had been saving for my down payment for about 3 years. all my overtime and tax returns and any other money i could squirrel away i put in an account and left it there. i hit it a couple times for emergency expensive repairs to my truck but other then that i didnt touch it. so it added up to quite an extensive down payment.
