I went through that the first time I quit for nine years. And the craving is still there but not even close to as intense.

The elements are called "atomizers". They are fairly small. The complete e-cig is about the length of my Motorola Q9c cell phone. About 4.5" I have bought from these guys before. If there are any defective pieces you can send them back and they'll send replacements without hassle.
If you look around you can also find a USB passthrough where basically you plug it into your computer and plug an atomizer into it and smoke it like that. Kind of silly being connected to the computer but you get full power to the atomizer on every puff. |

It doesn't come in a cig pack. I did that myself with a empty pack of 100s.
