Since Mark mentioned the proper line through the corners - I've been reading a Skip Barber book called "Going Faster", It outlines the basics and then goes into very advances cornering techniques and also explains the physics. Much more interesting than it sounds, and it will make you faster on the track... or in some cases keep you ON the track
