If there have not been any other symptoms/noises since, I wouldn't worry about it. Did you release the clutch (therefore stalling it) before you shut it off?
Also, going forward, always pull the e-brake, then let off the foot brake, THEN put the car into 1st or second - this will put all the tension on the e-brake, as opposed to the clutch/transmission.
