Agreed. A lot of the breakage, however, is due to driving mistakes. For example, I think a lot of cars break because of wheel hop. Wheel hop is preventable both with good parts (e.g. bushings and trailing arms), but also with good driving: e.g. DON'T STAY IN IT WHEN YOU'VE GOT BAD WHEEL HOP! Just ease back on the throttle and who cares if you lose the race. Live to fight another day, all that.
