I started with a F1A on my LS3 and it worked great but when I switched to the 427 LSX it didn't have enough volume. Procharger will let you upgrade their superchargers for essentially the cost difference between the two models. I am now running the F1C and getting about 13 lbs of boost with Prochargers smallest pulley. You will have to beat the wheel well in a little at the bottom to get the F1C to fit but otherwise it fits fine. The R requires some cutting and the X requires even more cutting. I made 784 at the rear wheels, through an automatic (4L80), with several degrees of timing pulled for my nitrous. So breaking 800 rear wheel is not a problem.
All in all the combination is extremely driveable and I can run it on straight pump gas.
