The GT35 is a series of turbos. There are several different sizes and flow characteristics of each. It generally has a 61.4mm compressor wheel and a 82mm exducer wheel. These turbos also have several options of housings to achieve different AR and flanges for different spool and peak flow characteristics. The newest form of the GT35R is the GT3586R turbo. It has 61.4 mm inlet and 86 mm exducer with a reported max flow of over 75lbs/min. From the little knowledge of turbos I have is that trim, and a general XXmm turbo numbers dont tell much about the turbo. The real test seems to be lbs/min and understanding a compressor map.

That is a great place to understand some of the turbo terminiology and what it really means in the turbo world. Hope this helps.
