Thats basically it. I used to coast down hills all the time thinking I was helping to improve mileage...I live in a hilly area...keeping it in gear tho is def better I've just learned. Call me slow, say I'm beating a dead horse, call my post bs if you want. Personally FOR ME I'm just saying I've learned something new and and voicing my admiration for the efficiency of MY LS-3. For those who say its BS that my LS-3 gets better mileage than their V6....I've got no answer for ya. But I do not BS. 100 miles highway on hilly terrain at 75mph and @1850 RPM = 24.5 MPH
