The differential fluid from the factory is synthetic, and good for many miles, under normal driving, not drag racing or beating on the rear-end with burnouts.
Of course the oil looks like heck, the gears are meshing together and forming a good fit together, kind of like when the Beatles added Ringo. There is no need to change it early (<50-70k miles) unless you feel better about it. You want the gears to wear together, that is the way gears are.
However, people on this forum love to change fluids early, and it is their money and time, so rock on.
