You want proof of turbo failures? Go check out the F150 forums. There are plenty of cases there. The point is thy Ford said it's just as reliable as a NA V8, which it clearly is not. This issue has nothing to do with GMs problems. |
I'll let your past posts about TTV6s speak for themselves.
According to Ford, it has been as reliable as they predicted. You have to remember the Ecoboost way out sold the V8s. So you have to weight them accordingly. Have there been failures, sure. Have they been more than expected...NO! Just like the problems with the V8s have been within the range Ford expected. There's a reason they keep pushing Ecoboost technology. It is getting them where they want too be on the competitive landscape.
