Ram air style hoods do have functional opening, reducing engine bay heat.
Door kinds are carbon fiber with aluminim substructure.
Weight savings vary, some more beneficial than others.
Stock doors for example weight 53 lbs each, while the Seibon doors weigh 13 lbs each.
