Has anyone looked into water/methanol injection to help reduce deposit formation?
I'm looking back at Toyota/Lexus and their port injector concept to help reduce deposits and allow detergents to do their job. Running a port injector seemed a bit too romantic and complicated for me... But a 50/50 mix of water methanol from a proper system like Snow's or something seems like a good idea without too much fuss.
Couple that with a catch can and at least one has some fluid action...
I've used injection for higher boosted items in the past and it works. This just seems like a more practical application where you get some mild natural power gains coupled with something to help wash the system.
