I get that a lot. Originally I was not a fan of silver/grey, but they photograph well and its likely the best color to fight the constant dust battle.
The SSR has custom pin striping, the Base is a pin strip decal, but an artist customized it (the original owner had that done), up close it really pops.
It was the same for the Camaro, I liked the silver with the matt stripe package and I particularly like this stripe set as well.
Naked silver/grey does not work for me.
