I think red calipers look good on just about every color. Check out these ZO6 Corvettes... To each there own I guess. I just prefer a color that pops. My car is rally yellow and I went red and I think the contrast looks great. I have seen others like mine (Rally Yellow) that went body color and the calipers just appear to wash right in with everything.
Also, if you are going to have them powder coated... see this guy... He did mine and does great work.
