I know what you guys mean by expensive tires but have you seen the prices on Ebay lately for a set of 21" wheels. Dirt cheap, seems the market dropped out on this size wheel for the Camaro.
I'm speaking from experience, just picked up a set of these new with the silver paint for chicken scratch!
