The ignition switch is push button on the concept from what I remember. It has a start/stop button. I've seen it on a few of the new cars where you insert a key somewhere in the car and then push the "on" button. Strange...I'd rather have an electronic key in my pocket, get in the car, and just push the button.
If the vehicle and the key seperate after a certain distance, the car should automatically turn off. Imagine this scenario...carjacking. "Sure, take the car...

" Then, when they get 25 feet down the road....the engine cuts off. That'd be freakin hilarious to see the look on the thieves faces!
