Good question. If the orientation of the sensor still includes the "yaw" aspect of the three directional movements (pitch, roll, yaw), then I'd think all is well. The notation of it not having longitudinal sensor indicates the "pitch" movement is absent which would correlate to the concept of the nose facing up or down a hill. Therefore, the stabilitrack function, which I think is principally a yaw motion protection, should be ok. Someone with the mod should find a big wide open parking lot on a wet day and try to drift the back end to see if the stabilitrack control kicks in.
Me, I'm keeping the HSA as it seems to work perfectly for me on all the hills around Austin...
