I had a guy at the drag strip with an '07 Z06 tell me he put a MGW shifter on his car and he thought it would make a difference on a ZL1 too.

Anyone swap their shifter for that one or a different one. Any thoughts on why do this or why not do this.

Any specific brand suggestions would be great too.
