I am trying to decide myself between the two. The car won't be my daily driver, but whichever one I choose it will probably only see the track 2-4 times per year. I already have a Z28 with a stiff suspension, and no A/C which is pretty much unuseable in the summer in Louisiana. Part of me wants the Z28 for the same reason I love my 1LE (3rd gen), hard core race oriented top of the line 5th gen. The other part of me says getting the ZL1 I can actually haul people around in when the temperature is above 80 degrees.

I'm still waiting for more info on the Z/28 to make my decision.
