I am new to Camaro5 and don't know how to start a thread. I saw what you said here about pulling the fuse on the ECM for 5 minutes affecting the long term fuel trims. Here is my problem: Went to the dragstrip to see what my L99 would run stock and some butthead at the track told me to run with no air filter to get more power, so like a dumdass I did it. Of course it threw code P1516 reduced engine power and ran like crap. Got the codes cleared and it runs good but lacks power. When I fisrt got it, it would light the tires all the way through 1st and into 2nd in competive mode now it will only spin the tires for 5 seconds then take off. Does the fuel trim being reset help in my case?
