Been a while since I have posted to this journal. A few updates to come.
Last fall (2012), my subwoofer blew out, so I went to Sonus Car Audio (
http://www.sonuscaraudio.com) to get a replacement. I got a Hertz HX 250 sub and all was well again.
Then, in December 2012, I received a Facebook PM from Sonus that my name was drawn in a JL C5 Component speaker contest! Wow, that was probably the best thing that I have ever won. They installed the system, replacing the factory BA speakers, and I changed out my amp at the same time to a Hertz HP4 and added a sub control knob. Now the sound is even better. So when I can afford to add active controls, that will be the next thing for sound. The guys at Sonus do great install and fabrication work that is OEM in appearance and probably better in quality.
