Nothing "has" to be done.
Bolting it up on a completely stock car will warrant decent gains.
Just consider at least injectors, bap, and a proper tune.
It is recommended that you install headers and an exhaust for optimal gains for a boosted application.
From there, heads, cam, meth, fuel system, more boost, etc. options are endless.
And if you don't have alot of knowledge working on cars, it would be wise having a shop install and tune it.
