Just did springs on my 2010 a few weekends ago. A 2nd set of hands can be really helpful so I'd have someone available to help if you need it, but honestly the install was not bad. Wish I had done it a long time ago.

I don't know about the 2012+ models, but on my 2010 we didn't even need a spring compressor. Removing the final nut from the top of the struts only resulted in a little pop off from the spring...it was barely compressed.

We also used air tools...big help.
