GM has the good tranny's in stock as evidenced by the quick turnaround time on fixing at least 3 broken M6 recently and the owners have reported the replacement new trannys seem to be holding up well. The problem seems to be the inadequately hardened output shaft breaking during hard launches or soon after.
One would think that if GM has good M6 trannys in stock and they have known about this before the shut-down, then the M6 cars on schedule for production this week and on will have good M6 in them.  wishing thinking :( |
Are they REALLY installing V2 tranny's or just another of the same to get them rolling again?
