V3 has nothing to do with the size of the blower. The trim does. I have an Si trim on a stock cammed L99 with headers and fueling mods and am very happy with it. I'm getting 12 psi, still running the restrictor (ground down some) and not over spinning the blower. There is alot more to be had. I'm betting I could put in a moderate cam, remove the restrictor, over spin it a bit and still make 12+ psi. Not saying the Novi 1500 or a T trim isn't the way to go, I'm saying the Si trim in an ECS kit should not be overlooked. It's alot more than an S trim (actually closer to a T trim) and is super efficient. And it also can be swapped outfit a YSI should you ever want to go north of 800.
Matt of FSP actually sold me a used V3 Si trim along with a new ECS kit. Saved me a chunk of change!
