If you're interested in that, stick with something cheaper. Burnouts simply demonstrate a cars inability to apply the power to the ground... from my standpoint, there is no greater insult.
Not to mention, 20" pirelli's are around 400$ each if you w/ an RS.

Depends, 5L mustang doesn't really mean much unless you give it a year range....
V8's will produce more torque at low RPM than NA 6's, but without knowing your current weight and power output it's a somewhat useless comparison.

You cruise in 2K in which gear? Again, it would help to know more about your car.
In any given moment, the 6 is going to like to be rev'd more than an 8. That much is pretty standard...

The auto and stick are going to be pretty much identical in performance, the auto being slightly faster in a strait line. If you didn't dig the power delivery in auto, going to stick won't really make all that much different -- but does return some human/machine interaction.
I personally use the tap shifters all the time since they will pretty much hold a gear to redline. Fun as hell to autocross with it.
