Brief rundown. I have HP Tuners from previous GM cars and have just enough knowledge on tuning to be dangerous but not good. I searched on the board for sometime looking for a good tuner that would a.) work with HP Tuners and b.) work remotely using scans and feedback. I have never cared about dyno numbers I wasn't interested in doing a dyno tune. For me I want the car to run good the way I drive it in real world conditions under load.
So after much reading I kept seeing Tampa Tuning pop up in discussions. I PM'ed Phil. He responded within an hour and after a couple PM's we were already working on the tune. I was very amazed to see the very first tune that was sent was incredible. The trans tune was night and day difference. The car shifts so much faster and precise. I was barking the tires on the first couple shifts!! The engine is much more responsive and car really woke up from its slumber. Fast, crisp, and consistent now. We did some more scans and made some tweaks and car runs like a champ.
If anyone is looking for a good tuner I would highly recommend Phil from Tampa Tuning. On a side note I was getting PM's and emails from him all the way up to 8pm PST. Which means the guy was working at 11pm Eastern
