Angry The Dumb Things Dealerships Do

So, here is a good story for all of you. From what I have found, this is not that uncommon:

Back in November, I purchased an Outback for my wife. When I did, I used my ZL's registration as a form of identity proof. A few days ago, my wife was pulled over and was told that her registration did not match the plates on her car. Confused, she asked what that meant. He said the plates on her car were still registered to the car dealership that we bought the car from. Thankfully the police officer was cool and didn't write her tickets or impound the car.

So, after doing some research, it seems that the dealership, unbeknownst to us, transferred the plates on my ZL to her car which left my car unregistered. So since March I have been driving a car with no registration. It's a good thing I obey all posted speed limits! Anyway, I went to the dealer on Saturday and signed some forms so they are now transferring the plates that were originally installed on the Outback to the Camaro. The plates that were on the Camaro are now on the Outback so at least one car now is legal.

Well that's my stupid dealership story. Anyone else?
