100% painted on my own...

I got Rustolium multi-surface high heat white paint and clear coat.

I used painters tape to mask off what I didn't want painted. This honestly was the most time consuming. I was going to do a crazy design.. but realized I didn't have the patience to complete the tape job.

Once taped off, I gave it 2 coats in the summer sun of SoCal, and applied them 15 min apart. I let it dry for 24 hours. I than applied another 2 coats and again let dry for 24 hours.

I now applied the clear coat. I applied roughly 7 or 8 coats of clear following the same process allowing plenty of dry time. The trick is all in the prep work. have patience and let the coats dry properly. if you jump the gun it will not dry right and a simple thing like wires rubbing on the cover can scratch the paint off.
